Accessibility Statement

ACCESIBILITY STATEMENT

Red Onion S.r.l. undertakes to make its website accessible, in accordance with Legislative Decree no. 82 of 27 May 2022, which implements Directive (EU) 2019/882 on accessibility requirements for products and services. This statement applies to the https://redonion.it/ website.

Compliance status

The website is currently partially compliant with the requirements of Annex A of the UNI EN 301549:2018 standard (corresponding to WCAG 2.1 AA criteria), due to some non-conformities found during the self-assessment phase through Lighthouse and further manual checks on three representative types of page: Homepage, Projects List and Project Detail.

Content not accessible

The main critical issues encountered are as follows:
- Some <iframes> do not contain a descriptive title. (WCAG 4.1.2)
- Some graphics or interactive elements may require improvement in the handling of ARIA labels. (WCAG 4.1.2)
- Manual checks on visual focus, DOM/tab order, and semantic landmarks are recommended to ensure full accessibility from the keyboard and with screen readers. (WCAG 1.3.1, 2.1.1)
- Some components may need improvements in color contrast or touch target size. (WCAG 1.4.3, 2.5.5)

Valuation method

The evaluation was conducted on 19/09/2025 through an automated scan with Lighthouse v12.8.2 and manual tests on three representative page types. The tests were performed using Chrome browser version 137.0.7151.119 on desktop emulation. The site has not yet reached full compliance but is undergoing ongoing corrective actions.

Adjustment plan

Red Onion S.r.l. is committed to removing the digital barriers detected, with a view to continuous improvement and progressive extension of the checks to all sections of the site, in line with the regulatory deadlines provided.
