WOW! celebrates 25 years with the commercial "It's Time to Celebrate".


For the 25th anniversary of WOW!, one of the leading U.S. providers of Internet, cable TV and telephony, we have created an animated TV Commercial starring Wowzer, the brand's mascot. A project that brings to TV the visual and narrative identity already developed on social media, transforming an illustrated character into a real cross-channel communication asset.

From social to TV: the 25th anniversary challenge

The collaboration with WOW! was born on social media, where Wowzer told about flexible offers without contractual constraints. The challenge for the 25th anniversary was to scale creativity towards TV, maintaining the irony and freshness of the character but with a broadcast-ready production, capable of reaching millions of users on a symbolic occasion.

The creative strategy: "It's Time to Celebrate"

The idea was simple and powerful: when the connection works, social life lights up. In the film, Wowzer becomes the engine of a light and colorful cartoon story, up to the explosive finale of balloons and colors that celebrates the brand's 25th anniversary. An immediate, recognizable language suitable for all platforms, designed to be memorable and replicable.

Production and workflow

To get to the final result, we structured a quick process and integrated:

  • Storyboards and key frames with adaptation of the character design for TV.
  • 2D animation with a focus on timing and secondary motion.
  • Compositing and sound design with broadcast audio mix.
  • Multi-channel versioning: cut-downs and vertical/social formats consistent with TV creative.
